Colour Fun Run

In spite of the very hot conditions last Friday, our students had a thoroughly enjoyable day being covered in coloured powder.  A huge thank you to everyone involved in our major fundraiser for the year!  The students raised an incredible $30,413.98 which will be going towards playground upgrades next year.

As soon as the student prizes have been delivered to the school, we will hand them out.  We thank you for your patience.

2024 End of Year Planning

Student Chromebooks Years 4 to 6 

Please return all student chromebooks and chargers to school by Monday 9th December for stocktake over the Summer holiday period.  For student safety, students do not have access to their student email accounts during holiday breaks. 

Library books 

Please return all student library books by Friday 29th November

Specialist Classes

Specialist classes will conclude on Friday 29th November.  There are no specialist lessons from the last two full weeks & week 11 of Term 4.

• 5.45 pm - Year 6 Graduation Mass and Presentation

Thursday 12 December - Mass

9.00 am - Whole School End of Year Mass (including leadership handover)

Friday 13th December -  Christmas Concert (changed lunch break time)

• Class Rehearsals during the morning blocks.
• 1.15 pm - 2.30pm approx Christmas Concert in Allen Hall (parents to sign in via the welcome gate - parents please join in the fun and wear something Christmassy)

Monday 16th December 

• Student 'Meet and Greet' session with new 2025 teachers 9.15am-10.40am
• Foundation and Year 6 Presentation during Assembly at 2.30pm

Tuesday 17th December - last day of school for students 

• Year 4 VWS Certificate Swimming program  (to be advised - due to an overlooked booking at Paul Sadler) 
• 2.50 pm - Year 6 Community Farewell on the Small Oval
• 3.05 pm - 2025 Student leaders blessing to Year 6s and Countdown to the end of the school year

2024 School Dates and events to the end of the 2024 school year

There are a lot of events and activities planned for our students as the 2024 academic year draws to a quick end.  These final weeks of term are likely to be extremely busy.  Please make sure you take the time to review the times, dates, and other details so you can participate in the events.  . 

Well done to the Year Three’s on the Enthusiasm that was shown in our Water Safety Incursion! You showed the school values at all times, but most importantly you had fun!! 

Congratulations to all the students at MMPS for the amazing work you have created in Visual Arts this term.  Mrs Hill and Mrs Fletcher have been so impressed with your creativity. The art gallery will be open to families in week 9, so make sure you bring them along to see the wonderful art you have created.
